Practicing Hours
1. Training dates, are as normal. Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8.30AM to around lunch time. It is a reminder to those who are late or missing training often, serious actions will be taken
against you if you miss training again.

Student Leaders Camp
2. Shooting club members which are going for the Student Council camp, are excused from training until you have completed your camp in school. Those students which want to practice while in the camp can come, but you will have to inform the respective teachers. Ms Chong, and Ms Ong.

Club t-shirt
3. The club t-shirt again, is on it's way. Final decisions on the sizes, names, and price will be informed by the mid of December.

BBQ
4. The club BBQ, will be held a few days before Christmas, those which wish to join, please contact me via training, SMS (81099357), or e-mail (isaac_lw_loong@hotmail.com, or, westspringshooting@hotmail.com. The price per person, will be 10 dollars. Opinions on the location, time and place are still being disputed, so if you have any thing you want to add to the BBQ, please let me know.

Sec two's not coming for practice
5. Sec two members, majority of the people missing from training are sec two members. I don't know why. Please come for training, as we need to fill up the gap, when the seniors leave the school or are concentrating on their examinations. If members are missing practices often, then serious disciplinary actions are going to take place. Please remember attire, is P.E uniform.

There will be a small opening, tml (monday). The Australians from Weeribie Sec coming to Singapore Tml, I need at least 15 person to help out Tml. Please, call me at 81099357 for more information. By tonight please.

2. Club T-Shirt
ALL members, I'm pleased to say that our shooting T-shirt is on it's way. Thus, I need the sizes, and your contact particulars. Please e-mail them to, westspringshooting@hotmail.com Please add your T-shirt size, contact number(mobile and residential), and name. Pass on the message to those who does not have internet access. Any questions on the club tee shirt, could be sent to 81099357, e-mailed either to the club's e-mail westspringshooting@hotmail.com, or to my e-mail at isaac_lw_loong@hotmail.com. Please also pass on this message to other members which do not have internet access, please do this as soon as possible, so that we'll have the club tee sooner.

3. People who are missing practices.
This is a last warning to those who are missing practices all the time, if you still continue to NOT come for training, further discipline actions will happen. This includes seniors and council members. Please come for training, training dates are on BOTH Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting from 8.30 AM. We need to practice before we run out of the time when school reopens.

4. Thank you, for those who helped out in the open house. There will be a BBQ, coming soon. Those who are interested please let me know so I can gauge the number of people who wants to have the open house.

New Start to sucess.

Welcome to the new West Spring Shooting Club’s very own blog.

First, I’ll like to thank the club, teachers, my fellow teammates and club members for representing the school this year at various competitions. And we did great for this year’s competitions, although sometimes we face defeat, I know that the Shooting Club will be even greater next year.

For this post, I’ll like to address the training dates, new club tee shirt, BBQ, Chalets, and training issues

Training dates:

Training dates are on every Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9AM – 12nn. Additional training dates will be informed either on these dates, keep in mind that this coming Tuesday’s training will start on 8.30AM.

Members which wish to have additional training have to inform me 24Hrs before the day you wish to have extra trainings.

ALL members are to be punctual and in P.E attire. Attendance will be taken everyday of practice.

New Club T-Shirt Designs:

The New Club t-shirt designs are the following.

Keeping in mind that these designs are not confirmed. Colors, jersey numbers, names, can be added to the tees. Comments are welcomed, we need comments on the design, color, material, and prices. This designs are the new logos, and back designs.

BBQ:

The club plans to have a BBQ during the holidays, the plan still needs time and comments from the members of the club. If there is to be a BBQ, each person which wants to go will have to pay a fee of 10 dollars, extras will be given back to each person.

We have to discuss the location of the BBQ, the number of people going, and what types of food we would want to have.

Keeping in mind we have to share a thought for our Muslim members, if they are going.

Comments are welcomed; the planning of this event is still in the early stages.

Chalets:

Many of the senior members wish to have a chalet going on for the club, if there is to be a chalet, the BBQ will be held during the period having the chalet instead, prices will still be the same for those which just wish to go for the BBQ only. As for the prices for the chalets: First two weeks of November would be the cheapest, after that would be counted as school holidays and peak prices would be expensive. Things that need to be thought about is the number of people who wish to go, the number of days they wish to stay overnight, the amount they wish to pay, and the duration of the chalet they want. Comments are welcomed on this blog, please do not vandalize or writing comments will be removed from this blog.

Open House, needs ideas….

Training issues:

Noise Levels, the noise levels in the range are too high, the people that are shooting have a difficulty concentrating while shooting, it is a final warning to those which love to exercise their lips, please keep those lips shut while in the range, or reduce the amount you talk in the range. People caught disrupting trainings, would be heavily punished.

Messy equipment box (cards, pellets, button buddy, tools):

Now each day of training would have an officer in charge of the distribution of cards and pellets. That officer would also have an assistant which is responsible for equipment managing, and at the end of the day these officers would report to the captain the tins of pellets left, and whether the jackets, boots, and pants are all in the armory, and neatly kept. These officers would be overall responsible for all cards, pellets, tools, and equipment. The officer in charge is also responsible for keeping the box of cards, pellets, and tools neat.

Punctuality:

Many of the members are being late for trainings, although no punishments have been in place for these late comers. I wish to see that the numbers of these late comers would decrease during this few weeks. At late comers in the future would be punished.

This summaries this week’s post. Seniors are to discipline the junior members, and tell them what is wrong and right. Seniors are to behave during practices and to show professionalism while practicing. There will be a meeting this coming Tuesday for all senior members, please come for trainings and practices too.

Senior members missing from practices this holiday: Zhe Wei, Jasmine, Boyao, Bonfurt, Ronnie, Pei Pei. Reminder! Please come for trainings. The club still needs seniors.
